7 Skwad Troopers

7 Skwad Troopers is an elite group of emcees, producers, singers, and songwriters from the legendary 247 Skwad. 247 was co-founded by Tamon Pearson and Mix Master Wolf in 1987. Most of the Skwad members cam together at Westchester High Los Angeles and in local neighborhoods where members of the Skwad resided. The 7 Skwad Troopers were formed in 1993 when 247 clique began to divide due to growth in numbers and conflicting musical directions. Following the making of their 2000 debut album ‘Shananigins’ the Skwad endured intense trials and tribulations including the unexpected passing of two legendary crew members Romero “Mo Bounce” Holmes and Kenneth “Bo Jangles” Robinson. The unfortunate passing of crew members kept the Skwad away from the music scene for a half a decade and now they’ve returned with a new album entitled ‘Trooperville’ which features several songs with other 247 members, Reservoir Dogs, and Mr. Pearson. Trooperville is a journey into the 7 Skwad universe with methodical beats, and clever and raw lyrics. 7 Skwad Troopers are ready to establish themselves as a force of music.
